COMPANY <br />STOCKTON TERMINAL <br />SPCC PLAN <br />EMERGENCY RESPONSE PERSONNEL <br />PERSONNEL <br />JOB FUNCTION I RESPONSIBILITIES <br />Primary Emergency <br />Whenever there is an imminent or actual emergency situation associated ,with hazardous waste, <br />Coordinator <br />the Emergency Coordinator will oversee all response actions and ensure the proper notifications <br />are.made to outside agencies. The Emergency Coordinators responsibilities include: <br />immediately alert facility, personnel who may be adversely affected by the emergency situation. <br />209•943.5669 n=- <br />immediately notify those emergency response organizations with designated roles. This <br />Ul �a�£ ia S <br />notification is made to the fedlily's spill response contractor, and state and local agencies as well. <br />take all reasonable measures to ensure that fires, explosions, and releases do not recur or spread <br />to other hazardous waste op-site. These measures will include; collecting and containing released <br />waste; removing or isolating containers and; slopping processes and operations. <br />7r �� <br />ff operations are ceased for a fire, explosion, or release the Emergency Coordinator will monitor <br />for ruptures in valves, pipes, or other equipment; leaks; pressure buildup or gas generation. <br />immediately identify the character, exact source, amount of material released, and a <br />determination of how far the release has spread. <br />If the Emergency Coordinator determines that evacuation of local areas off-site may be <br />necessary, he will immediately notify appropriate local authorities and be available to help local <br />authorities decide whether local areas should be evacuated. <br />ff the Emergency Coordinator determines that a release, fire, or explosion could threaten human <br />health or the environment off -she, he will immediately'notffy the EPA Regional OnSoene <br />Coordinator. The following information will be provided to the On -Scene Coordinator. <br />Name and telephone number of individual making report <br />Name and address of facility. <br />Time and type of emergency situation (e.g. fire, explosion, release). <br />Name and quantity of matedal(s) involved to the extent known. <br />Possible hazards to human health and the environment off -side. <br />During the response, the Emergency Coordinator most ensure that no hazardous waste that may <br />be incompatible comes in contact with the released material. <br />ti LLIVAN-ENeNffitiNG-GROUP, INC. - <br />LAVALLETTE, NEW JERSEY PAGE 37 <br />
