COMPANY <br />STOCKTON TERMINAL <br />SECTION 5.0 <br />CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR UNCONTAINED SPILLS <br />Should an unforeseen malfunction or damage to the spill containment system allow a spill to <br />escape from the terminal, the person detecting these conditions must immediately take ap- <br />propriate actions to stop the flow of product This would be accomplished by stopping a <br />pump, closing a valve, or by diverting the flow to anothertank. <br />He would then call the terminal manager who would be responsible for coordinating the nou- <br />fication and cleanup procedures. In the event that the manager is unavailable, either the <br />Area Manager or the assistant terminal manager would coordinate these activities.
