July 3, 1986 <br />Rick Zimmerman, Manager <br />Standard Transmission <br />2941 Navy Drive <br />Stockton, California 95206 <br />CODE VIOLATIONS <br />AIL L 19do <br />ENVIRum&E,IAL HEALTH <br />F ERMIT/SERVICES <br />Pursuant to our inspection of your facility conducted on <br />July 1, 1986 by Captain Halsey (copy attached) and the diesel <br />fuel spill at your load rack on July 2, 1986 at 0330 hours, you <br />are hereby directed to: <br />1. Repair all high level alarms immediately. <br />Stockton Municipal Code, Section 4-008.5. <br />Have all load rack equipment and related wiring tested <br />and repaired, if necessary by a reputable service <br />station equipment companv and licensed electrician to <br />insure proper installation, maintenance and operation. <br />A report of these inspections and all resultant repairs <br />must be submitted to the Fire Marshal's office. These <br />reports must include all load rack fuel recovery and <br />sump equipment. <br />A reinspection of all high level alarms will be conducted <br />July 5, 1986 by Captain Halsey to insure their proper <br />operations. The reports from the service station equipment <br />company and licensed electrician must be submitted to the Fire <br />Marshal's office within ten days of this letter. <br />Failure to perform corrective action on all high level alarms and <br />submit necessary inspection reports will result in a Cease and <br />Desist Order pursuant to the Uniform Fire Code, Section 2.204c. <br />A -U <br />WILLIAM ROSS, FIRE MARSHAL <br />FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU <br />CC: Alex Krygsman, Port Director <br />Captain Halsey, Co. fl <br />
