Only Xylene at 0.0089 mg/kg <br /> and groundwater hit of Benzene at 0.54 ug/l with MTBE at 35 ug/l. MI <br /> keeps site as soil until re-sampling confirms or denies hits. Binder started. <br /> 10/29/96 ARCO/EHD quarterly meeting held today and MI will require two <br /> consecutive ND's or acceptable levels prior to closure consideration. <br /> 11/07/96 ML mails off summary letter from 10/29 meeting. <br /> 9997 <br /> 01123197 Steve Misner, Brown and Caldwell(BC), calls to advise that results from <br /> an unwitnessed November 15, 1996 event recorded no hits for TPH-G or <br /> BTEX. MTBE was at 8 ug/l. MI advises that consecutive quarterly <br /> sampling events needed and this quarter ends March 31, 1997. MI <br /> recommends that sampling event be included in closure request report <br /> and also includes receptor survey and Appendix B check list items. <br /> 01/29/97 QMR for 4'h-1997 recd yesterday gets reviewed today by MI. Sampling <br /> event was Nov 15, as Steve reported. Data verified. Discussion includes <br /> closure as target and sampling to be conducted in First Quarter, 1997. No <br /> receptor survey mentioned, <br /> 06/09/97 MI reviews "QMR-1S'/ 1997, Request for No Further Action", submitted <br /> _ 613197. MWS on March 19, 1997,..unwitnessed. DTW (8.89'bgs) . is <br /> approximately 1+' over top of screen set at 10'. TPH-G <50.0 ug/l, BTEX <br /> is also <0.5 ug/I and MTBE at 19 ug/l. Dissolved oxygen is at 0.26 mg/I. <br /> MI favors closure and discussed with ML. Ok to close w/o TRC. <br /> 06/10/97 MI starts closure paper work_ Case Closure Summary started. Errors and <br /> incomplete data noted and MI calls BC and requests soil disposition <br /> records, Table 2 correction for units, lab explanation for MTBE units in, <br /> "ppm" for groundwater analysis. <br /> 06/16/97 Site chronology started. MI calls BC and notifies that 30 day letter to <br /> CVRWQCB can only be sent when closure submittals are received and <br /> approved by PHS-EHD. <br />
