Date: January 5,2005
Quarter: 0 Quarter,2004
DISCUSSION:
Methyl tert-butyl ether (MtBE) was detected above laboratory reporting limits in the groundwater sample collected
from site monitoring well MW-2 this quarter. In MW-2, MtBE concentrations increased from 2.6 micrograms per
liter (µg1L) in the previous quarter to 21 pg/L this quarter. The MtBE concentration in MW-2 is consistent with
detections reported during and previous to the first quarter of 2004. MtBE was not detected above laboratory
reporting limits in MW-4 this quarter. No other analytes were detected above laboratory reporting limits.
Groundwater elevations in site wells increased relative to the previous quarter. The approximate groundwater flow
direction was toward the southeast at an average hydraulic gradient of 0.004 ft/ft.
This report is based on data, site conditions, and other information that are generally applicable as of the date of the
report, and the conclusions and recommendations herein are therefore applicable only to that time frame.
TABLES
Table 1 Groundwater Elevation and Analytical Data
Table 2 Fuel Oxygenates Analytical Data
Table 3 Groundwater Gradient Data
FIGURES
Figure 1 Groundwater Elevation Contours
• Figure 2 Groundwater Analytical Summary
APPENDICES
Appendix A Field and Laboratory Procedures
Appendix B Laboratory Analytical Reports,Chain-of-Custody Documentation, and Field Data Sheets
Appendix C GeoTracker Upload Confirmation
KAWprocessV5 BP ARCCW54501QuWff1y1200414 QTR 04 5450 GWMR 4Q04Am Page 2
