The file shows that Nor-Cal's record of
compliance with San Joaquin County and Beard requests for data and reporting has been
poor. however,if San Joaquin County has data, not available to the Board, which allows
the site to be closed because only soil contamination remains which will not.threaten
ground water,we can concur with the decision. Following are conditions to be included
in the public notice and no further action required letter to Nor-Cal:
• Leaded gasoline was discharged but no analyses for lead were performed, but r
Should be done prior to issuing a no further action letter,
• residual soil aontarnination.remains at about 40 feet below ground surface(the
historic high ground water level) and ground water currently is at 66 feet, and
• the lateral and vertical extent of ground water were never defined, btrt no
ground water contamination was found in the February 1995 sampling event of
the single monitoring well on site.
If you have any questions, please call Sheila Johnson at(916)255-3124.
f
Gordon Lee Beggs
Underground Tank
Program Manager
i
r
I
I
