31 October 2007
AGE-NC Project No. 07-1524
Page 5of10
Laboratory reports of soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control
(QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report.
3.4. MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY
The pilot borings will be completed as single-level ground water monitoring wells using 15-feet of
well screen; AGE anticipates wells at the site to be screened from 5 to 20 feet bsg. Following
installation, each well will be developed to maximize water flow and minimize the amount ol'
fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing, and the top of each existing
and newly installed well casing (well head) will be surveyed to determine its elevation relative to
mean sea level. Procedures for well installation, development and survey are presented in Sections
4.3. and 4.4... respectively.
3.5. GROUND WATER SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS
Following the installation of the new monitoring wells, ground water monitoring and sampling
activities will be conducted for all the monitoring wells on a quarterly basis. Monitoring activities
will include recording depth to ground water measurements and collection of ground water samples
for laboratory analysis by a DHS-certified laboratory for the analytes noted in Section 3.2. Ground
water sample collection protocols are described in Section 4.4.
Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC)reports and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in quarterly
reports with findings and recommendations.
3.6. PREPARATION OF REPORT OF FINDINGS
Following each ground water monitoring event, a quarterly report will be prepared presenting the
findings. Each report will include a description of work performed and the results of the ground
water sampling and analysis. Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods,
laboratory quality assurance/duality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody
documentation will be presented in the quarterly report. Conclusions and recommendations will also
be included, if applicable. The report will be in a format acceptable to the CVRWQCB. and will be
reviewed and signed by a California Professional Geologist.
Advanced GeoEnviroamental,Inc.
