0 0
Groundwater Afonitoring[Fork Plan
1950 West Fremont Street Stockton California
of analysis, sample results,detection limits or reporting limits,and surrogate recoveries(where
applicable).
• QA/QC summary reports providing data on method blanks. MS/MSD recoveries and laboratory
duplicates(as applicable), LCS recoveries,and other QC required in the referenced analytical
method.
• For all methods, each analysis will be performed at and each analyte reported from the lowest
possible dilution free of interference.
USEPA Level II data generally review for method compliance and summary review of QC outliers, but
are not required to be validated.
2.5 INVESTIGATION DERIVED WASTE MANAGEMENT
All investigation-derived waste(IDW)including soil cuttings, decontamination fluids,development
groundwater,and purged groundwater will be placed in 55-gallon U.S. Department of Transportation
(DOT)-approved drums. The drums will be labeled with date,contents, generator, and contact
information. At the completion of field activities, the drums will be profiled. transported and disposed of
by a licensed disposal contractor to an appropriate disposal facility.
2.6 REPORTING
Earth Tech will prepare a groundwater monitoring report following each of the monitoring events. The
groundwater analytical results as well as an evaluation of the data will be included into the report. The
following will be provided as part of the quarterly groundwater monitoring report:
• A narrative description of all preparatory, monitoring, sampling, and analytical testing activities
for the groundwater monitoring;
• Calculation of groundwater elevations,an assessment of groundwater flow direction and gradient
on the date of measurement. and comparison of previous flow direction and gradient data;
• A site map showing the well locations and the analytical results;
• Summary table of the analytical results:
• Conclusions and recommendations, if warranted;and
• Analytical data reports from the laboratory.
The groundwater monitoring and reporting will be conducted for four consecutive quarters. The first
quarterly report will include the well installation data,such as boring logs and well construction details.
The fourth quarterly report will include an evaluation of the data for potential site closure.
Project 102790 8 December 2007
