Before the proper location for additional monitoring wells can be <br /> determined , the groundwater flow direction must be calculated from onsite groundwater <br /> elevation data . To properly calculate the groundwater elevation data, and per California <br /> Code of Regulations section 2729. 1 , all monitoring wells must be surveyed to mean sea <br /> level . If this task has not been completed it must be scheduled immediately. <br /> In summary, you are directed to compete the following tasks: <br /> 1 . Submit a work plan to continue the investigation of the vertical and lateral <br /> extent of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at your site. The work plan is <br /> due for submittal no later than December 26 , 2003 . <br /> 2. Continue quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling of all site monitoring <br /> wells. The next event must be scheduled for January 2004. A report of <br /> findings must be submitted within 60 days following the event. <br /> 3 . Report to SJC/EHD within five days of the date of this letter that all site <br /> monitoring wells have either been surveyed to mean sea level or are <br /> scheduled to be surveyed . <br /> 4 . Have all analytical data from site investigations electronically submitted to <br /> GeoTracker. <br /> As a reminder, your eligibility to the State Water Resources Cleanup Fund is dependent <br /> on your being in compliance with all regulatory directives .
