(ATC) and has the following comments.
The Report documents a routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling event
conducted at the above subject contaminated underground storage tank site during the
fourth quarter of 2007. In the Report ATC recommends modifying the sampling frequency
of monitoring wells MW-7 , MW- 10 , MWA 1R, MW-14 and MW-15 from quarterly to annual
or semi-annual . This recommendation is based on groundwater data for these wells being
non-detect for at least six quarters (with the exception of one anomalous detection of total
petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline in MW- 10).
The EHD agrees with the recommendation, and further recommends that well MW- 13 be
included in the switch from quarterly to annual sampling . The wells will continue to be
monitored for depth to groundwater during each quarterly monitoring event.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan , REHS Nuel C.
