Fremont St. in Stockton
Attachments: Lead Data for 2494 Fremont St.pdf
Hi Cori,
I did not find any groundwater analyzed for lead.
What I did find is that soil sample ST-4 was analyzed for organic lead and it was non-detect; the STLC lead was
0.46 mg/L and the TCLP lead was non-detect.
I have attached a map showing where soil sample ST-4 was collected and a map showing that the area where
ST-4 was collected was over-excavated.
One other thing, I do have soil data for SB-19; a map shows the location of SB-19 and Table 1 shows the
analytical lead results for SB-19 at 40, 50, 60 and 70 feet below surface grade. This is the best lead data that
can find.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-9852
Email: vmccartney(&sicehd.com
. Fremont St. in Stockton
Hi Vicki,
I have been looking over the data from Fremont Shell and am wondering if groundwater was ever
analyzed for lead. One 8,00-gallon tank used to store premium leaded gas was removed in 1996 and in
the Case Closure Summary Before and After Cleanup table it indicates a soil sample contained 19 mg/kg
of lead, which seems a bit high to me compared to other cases I've reviewed in San Joaquin County. Can
you tell me if there is any groundwater data for lead?Or if the lead in soil was ever delineated?
Thank you,
Cori Condon, PG,CI-Ig
Senior Engineering Geologist
Underground Tank Program
Central Valley Water Board
ccondon@waterboards.ca.gov
(916)464-4619
9/26/2014
