• CAMBRIA
INVESTIGATION RESULTS
Personnel Present Cambria geologist Geno Mammmi directed the field activities,
working under the supervision of California Registered
Geologist Joe Neely
Permits Well construction permits were obtained from the
SJCPHS/EHD, and an encroachment permit was obtained from
the City of Stockton (Appendix A)
Drilling Company Gregg InSitu, Inc (Gregg) of Martinez, California, (C57 License
#656407)
Drilling Dates June 11 through 15, 2001
Drilling Method: Cone Penetration Testing(CPT)
iSampling Methods Soil lithology was logged using CPT logging equipment The
CPT boring logs are presented in Gregg's CPT Site Investigation
report (Appendix B) Soil samples were collected at ten-foot
intervals in boring S13-8 for potential chemical analysis, and
head-space analysis Soil samples from each interval were
screened for the presence of organic vapors using a photo-
ionization detector (PID)
Number of Borings- Five CPT borings (SB-7 through S13-11) were drilled in the
locations shown on Figure 2
Boring Depths Borings SB-7 through SB-11 were drilled to 120 feet below
grade(Table 1)
Groundwater Depths Pore pressure dissipation tests were performed with the CPT
equipment in borings S13-7, S13-8, and SB-10 This test is used
to determine depth to groundwater in the boring The results of
this testing suggest groundwater occurs at depths ranging from
approximately 46 to 52 feet below grade(fbg)
0797 2
