Soil samples for laboratory analysis will be collected from the floor
of the excavation, from the sidewalls, and from the soil stockpiles. Analysis will be for
volatile organic compounds including gasoline constituents, fuel oxygenate additives and
total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline by EPA Method 8260B.
The EHD approves the proposed scope of work with the condition that chlorinated
hydrocarbons are included in the laboratory analysis. In addition, please note that the
stockpile may only be moved offsite if it is transported to a permitted disposal facility. A
Report of Findings documenting the work, laboratory analyses and including conclusions
and recommendations is due for submittal to the EHD within 60 days following completion
of the fieldwork.
Please give at least 48 hours notification to the EHD prior to the start of work. If you have
any questions please contact Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337 or by email at
Iduncan((Dslcehd.com.
Sincerely,
l bw lit wry C4 . // le_
Lori Duncan, REHS Nuel C.
