Fremont, Stockton, CA
Lori,
I met with Wayne Henry of Fremont Gate LLC last week regarding the draft report
summarizing excavation activities at the site. Since we have residual gasoline
constituents remaining in soil between the depths of approximately 18 and 32 feet, we'd
like to do some indoor air sampling to evaluate concentrations in the breathing zone above
the slab.
We would sample indoor and ambient air samples in general conformance with DTSC's
guidelines. We would collect 2 indoor air samples and 2 ambient air samples using 8-hour
sample regulators into 6-liter Summa Canisters and compare results (TO-15 SIM) to CHSSLs
to hopefully confirm that vapor intrusion is negligible and not a health threat.
We'd like to do the sampling the end of next week or beginning of the following week and
include the results in our report.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the indoor air
sampling.
Thank you,
John P.
