B-2 and B-4 did not exhibit the typical diesel chromatographic patterns and could not <br /> make a definitive determination without further tests. <br /> • The chromatograms for ground water samples B-1, B-2 and B-4 were analyzed by EPA <br /> method 8260 and indicated the discrete peaks previously identified as TPH-d were tentatively <br /> identified as dodecane. <br /> • The chromatograms for ground water samples B-2 and B-3 were analyzed by EPA method <br /> 8260 and indicated the discrete peaks previously identified as TPH-g were tentatively <br /> identified as chloroform. <br /> In their letter dated 27 November 2006, EHD reviewed the additional information provided by Kiff <br /> in their supplementary report dated 17 July 2006 and stated that the tentative;"dentific ion of, <br /> dodecane and chloroform, combined with the low concentrations of`TPH-d in soil and ethanol its <br /> ground water may warrant the site for closure. <br /> 3.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> AGE proposes to collect soil-vapor samples to assess the potential for soil-vapor intrusion into the <br /> existing buildings on the site. <br /> The site assessment will include the following tasks: <br /> • Pre-field work activities; <br /> • Soil-vapor sample collection and analysis; and <br /> • Report preparation to include fate and transport modeling to assess the potential for soil- <br /> vapor intrusion into existing on-site buildings. <br /> 3.1.
