CHRONOLOGY. <br /> Ace Tomato Company Incorporated <br /> 2771 East French Camp Road <br /> Manteca, CA 95336 <br /> 01/30/04 Upgrades to the two dispensers - and piping associated with the <br /> underground storage tank (UST) system consisting of one 6,000-gallon <br /> diesel UST and one 6,000 gallon unleaded gasoline UST were performed h <br /> on this date under permit issued by the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD). Soil samples were collected from the two <br /> stockpiles, beneath each dispenser, and around the unleaded fill bucket. <br /> Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) were detected at 11 <br /> milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) in soil samples collected from the <br /> unleaded gasoline stockpile; methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) was <br /> detected at 2.1 mg/kg and tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA) was detected at r <br /> r <br /> 14.5 mg/kg in soil samples collected from around the unleaded fill bucket; <br /> MTBE was detected at 0.054 mg/kg in soil samples collected from <br /> beneath the unleaded gasoline dispenser; and soil samples collected from <br /> the unleaded gasoline stockpile contained benzene at 0.089 mg/kg, toluene <br /> at.1,88 mg/kg, ethyl benzene at 0.671 mg/kg, total xylenes at 3.86 mg/kg, <br /> MTBE at 52.4 mg/kg, and TBA at 8.43 mg/kg. <br /> 02/18/04 EHD filed Unauthorized Release Form URF #04-U01 on this date. <br /> 02/17/04 EHD filed Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge on this date. <br /> 02/20/04 This site was assigned to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department's (EHD) Local OversightProgram (LOP). <br /> 03/17/04 Date of Work Plan for Limited Immediate Corrective Action at Ace <br /> I <br /> Tomato Facility Located.at 2771 E.
