M
Y
Injection Well Design
'r
Proposed Injection Project, Clearwater Group
1817 South Fresno Avenue, Stockton, California
Injection Wells. Injection will take place following the dewatering of each well area. Injection activities
will involve the installation of approximately 15 temporary injection ports, each with an estimated radius
of influence of 15 to 18 feet and injection of 25,000 gallons of Fenton's Reagent mixture across the site.
An average of 1 ,650 gallons will be injected per port. Specific injection volumes will be determined
based on the thickness of impacted sand encountered and how well each port accepts the volume of
injected liquid. The mixture will be delivered using approximately 1 .54nch diameter custom injection
rods, installed with a Geoprobe, on a closely spaced grid, at pump pressures ranging from 200 to 600
pound per square inch (psi) . Clearwater has recommended bottom-up injection, with a 1 - to 4-foot
injection interval. The exact zones of horizontal contamination will be confirmed as the (well) are
installed in the field. D QY '1T.
