i
I
Page 2
1817 S . Fresno Ave .
Please conduct a survey and provide the location of all agricultural , industrial ,
domestic, municipal and other wells within a 2000 foot radius of this site in the
workplan . The construction of these wells , if known , should be included .
The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board requires that all sites
with monitoring wells perform analysis for fuel oxygenates on the water samples
collected from the wells . Initial analysis of MW-3 showed MTBE at 12 ppb by
EPA method 8020 . Analysis from the second round of groundwater samples by
EPA method 8260 was non-detect for all fuel oxygenates . A confirmation
analysis by EPA method 8260 will be required during the next groundwater
monitoring event. Pending results from that analysis , the need to continue
testing for fuel oxygenates can be reevaluated .
If you have any questions or comments please contact Lori Duncan at (209-468-
0337) .
Donna Heran , REHS , Director
Environmental Health Division
cut/, CA (S
Lori Duncan , REHS Margar Lagono , R HS
Site Mitigation Unit IV Supervisor, Unit IV
cc: Mark List, CVRWQCB
Doug Guenther, Clearwater Group , Inc .
i
t
i
i
