N
N
Gabriel Gonzalez [EH]
From: Gabriel Gonzalez [EH]
Sent: Monday, June 15, 2015 10:13 AM
To: Nuel Henderson [EH]
Subject: FW: Barnes Trucking - NOI
Attachments: Barnes_Trucking_NOI_response.pdf; Gen-Order-Fact Sheet.docx; GenOrder_In-
situ_CEQA_checlist3 O. pdf
Hi Nuel,
Scott called and forwarded me what he called Regional Board's "draft" response letter to the Stratus NO1 for 1817 S
Fresno Ave., Stockton . He said he asked Regional Board to make a few changes to the response letter, so the one we
may eventually see on Geotracker may be different than the one in this email . Scott was concerned with how EHD
approved the proposed configuration of injection wells but Regional Board does not approve of the proposed
configuration . He saw this as two governmental agencies with different ideas of what is approved, with him stuck in the
middle not knowing which directive to follow. He was wondering if we could take a look at the Regional Board's
response and if anything needs to be addressed to have it addressed before Regional Board uploads the letter to
Geotracker. I let him know that I would forward the information and letter to you.
Thank you,
Gabe
From : Scott [mailto: SBittingerCcbstratusinc. net]
Sent: Monday, June 15, 2015 9 : 58 AM
To: Gabriel Gonzalez [EH]
Subject: FW: Barnes Trucking - NOI
From : Condon, Cori@Waterboards [mailto:Cori.Condon(awaterboards.ca.gov]
Sent: Monday, June 15, 2015 9: 22 AM
To: Scott
Cc: Barton, Jim@Waterboards
Subject: Barnes Trucking - NOI
Hi Scott,
I reviewed the NOI you submitted for Barnes Trucking in Stockton and prepared the attached comment letter that is
going out in the mail today.
In addition, attached is an example Fact Sheet with our logo that should be used to notify the public that the Water
Board is preparing a Notice of Applicability to operate under the General Order for In-Situ Treatment. Please modify
the Fact Sheet as appropriate and return the draft to me and Jim Barton and we will work with you on the wording, the
figure and distribution list.
Finally, the CEQA checklist that was prepared for the General Order is attached . If there is anything unique about the
project at Barnes Trucking that was not addressed in the General Order CEQA checklist, please let us know. We may
need to prepare a site specific Mitigated Neg. Dec. if there are conditions at Barnes that were not addressed in our
document.
1
