CLEARWATER <br />' G R O U P <br /> • Environmental ServledA <br />' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' 1.1 Scope <br /> and Pur ose <br /> P <br />' This report was prepared by Clearwater Group (Clearwater) on behalf of Floyd Barnes and <br /> presents a Workplan and Remedial Action Plan (RAP) for the property located at 1718 South <br />' Fresno Avenue in Stockton, California (the "site" — Refer to Figures 1 and 2 for illustrations of <br /> P\b 1 /1-\C---1 9�w c l/ --� <br /> the site location, and site layout) Preparation of a Workplan and�RAP was requested by the San <br />' Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) in a letter dated March 2, 2004 AJ <br /> Clearwater's evaluation of remedial action alternatives, described in the Corrective Action Plan <br />' (CAP) of November 2002, and CAP Addendum letter dated December 31, 2003, identified 1SOC <br /> oxygen infusion as the most feasible alternative for the site In their March 2, 2004 letter, <br />' SJCEHD indicated that they, as well as the Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund (USTCF) <br /> would be "receptive" to the proposed 1SOC approach, and that they would allow implementation <br /> thereof under the condition that existing monitoring wells not be used for remediation purposes, <br /> and that new "infection" wells be installed for deployment of iSOC equipment, and for <br /> facilitation ofotential nutrient injections 4- <br /> P �Y� C� � /l.�cr t�`4 ��� � -2nc G•�-�C�'f l� <br /> -- <br /> 1.2 Site De- ssccription <br /> The subject facility, located near the intersection of South Fresno Ave and Charter Way (State <br /> Highway 4), consists of a vehicle parking area, a building that is currently used as a Barnes <br /> Trucking office and a building used as a repair/ maintenance shop (Figure 2) The property is <br /> located approximately 15 miles south of the Port of Stockton Turning Basin and 0 9 mile east of <br /> the San Joaquin River (Figure 2) Currently, the site is used as a truck dispatch center and <br /> parking area There are no fuel dispensing facilities stored or operating at the site <br /> • <br /> ZB 178C RAP 1 May 18 2004 <br />
