V 1117 Lone Palm Avenue Suite B Modesto California 95351 www atc-enviro corn 209 579 2221 Fax 209 579 2225 A 5 S D C I A T E 5 I N C i November 22, 2000 17292 0001 Mr Jeff Wong San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division 304 E Weber Street, Third Floor Stockton, California 95202 Subject Third Quarter 2000 Groundwater Monitoring Report and Well Survey, Franklin High School, 300 North Gertrude Avenue, Stockton, California Dear Mr Wong ATC Associates Inc , on behalf of the Stockton Unified School District, has prepared this letter to serve as a Third Quarter 2000 Monitoring report for the subject site (Figure 1) INTRODUCTION ATC's activities during the Third Quarter of 2000 included monitoring the water level and collecting a groundwater sample from on-site monitoring well MW-1, analyzing the collected groundwater sample for petroleum hydrocarbon constituents, and preparation of this quarterly report The location of the well is shown on Figure 2 GROUNDWATER MONITORING Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling On September 8, 2000, ATC personnel conducted quarterly monitoring and sampling at the above referenced site The well was monitored, purged, and sampled in accordance with ATC's Site Safety Plan and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan (QA/QC Plan) submitted to PHS/EHD on February 1, 1999 The groundwater level in the monitoring well was 54 80 feet below grade, indicating a drop in the water table elevation of 2 47 feet since water depth was last measured in June 2000 The groundwater monitoring data are summarized in Table 1 , 1 Monitoring well MW1 was purged a minimum of three well volumes and until the stabilization of electric conductivity, pH, and temperature was observed Subsequent to purging, groundwater w 117292 00011reportsl3 qmr 2000 doc 1
