INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr Charles Skobrak,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) <br /> has prepared this Work Plan Addendum for additional soil and ground water investigation at 308 <br /> North Grant Street in Stockton, California The scope of work includes the drilling of one ground <br /> water monttormg well, two vadose zone remediation wells and three soil borings After drilling has <br /> been completed, a soil vapor extraction(SVE) pilot test will be performed and a Corrective Action <br /> Plan(CAP) prepared , <br /> The Work Plan Addendum is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Pubhc Health Services <br /> -Environmental Health Division and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board guidelines <br /> for the investigation of underground storage tank(UST) sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 21 SITE LOCATION <br /> The site is located in a flat commercial area in central Stockton, on the northeast corner of the <br /> intersection of Grant Street and Miner Avenue (Figure 1) The site is operated as Larry's Auto <br /> Repair The property is occupied by a single building, attached canopy and parking afea (Figure 2) <br /> 2 2 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVALS <br /> In April 1987, one underground storage tank (UST) was removed from the site Two additional <br /> USTs were removed in May 1990 Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in soil samples collected <br /> beneath each tank <br /> 23 SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION <br /> An initial subsurface assessment was performed by WaterWork Corporation One soil boring was <br /> advanced to a depth of approximately 35 feet below surface grade (bsg) near the area of highest <br /> concentration of soil contamination detected during the tank removal Ground water was encountered <br /> 0 at a depth of 32 feet <br />
