2.0 GENERAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS <br /> All persons involved in sub-surface investigations shall read and thoroughly <br /> understood this safety plan prior to entering and/or working on the site. <br /> No project personnel may be allowed on-site without the prior knowledge and <br /> consent to the designated site safety officer and project manager <br /> There will be no activities conducted on-site without sufficient backup personnel. <br /> At a minimum, two persons must be present during on-site activities Visual, <br /> voice, or radio communication will be maintained at all times <br /> There will be no eating, dnnlang, application of cosmetics or smolang on the <br /> site <br /> Project personnel shall bring to the attention of the designated site safety officer <br /> any unsafe condition or practice associated with on-site project related activities <br /> All boring, excavation, heavy equipment operation, and general construction <br /> activities shall be performed while in compliance with 29 CFR 1926 <br /> All project personnel who are likely to wear purifying or air supplied respirators <br /> must first meet the training and medical requirements of 29 CFR 1910 120 and <br /> 20 CFR 1910.134 <br /> No contact lenses may be warn within 20 feet of drilling activity ("hot zone") <br /> 2.1 DRILL RIG SAFETY GUIDELINES <br /> Drill ng maintenance and safety is the responsibility of the drilling <br /> operator The following information is provided as general guidelines for <br /> safe practices on the site. <br /> No food or beverage will be consumed or stored in the operational area. <br /> The route of travel before moving drill ng off-road should be inspected. <br /> Rocks, trees, erosion, and uneven surfaces should be noted <br /> No passengers shall be permitted in the cab while moving dull ng onto <br /> rough or sloped terrain <br /> Multiple drive power trains (when available) on ng vehicle shall be <br /> mobilized for off-road travel. <br /> .
