On July 23, 1998,
CPL submitted proposed revisions to Monitoring and keporting program 96-814 (MRP). You
discussed the proposed revisions with Mr. Dan Lapporte on August 12, 1998 and approved the
proposed modifications to the MRP with the following exceptions:
• MW-12 should be monitored annually rather than abandoned; and
• EX-6 should be left in place rather than abandoned.
Permits for well abandonment are obtained through the San Joaquin Valley Environmental
Health Division(Mr. Mike Infurna). In order to issue well abandonment permits, Mr. Infurna
requires notification from the RWQCB that destruction of the wells is authorized. Based on your
conversation with Mr. Lapporte, this letter serves as that authorization.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Corral Hollow and Grant Line Roads
project, please contact Dan Lapporte at(925) 842-6718
I
cerely,
UOA
K.
