The encroachment permit is for installing extraction wells and piping connection <br /> to the City storm drain inlet for discharge of treated groundwater from the remediation <br /> system. The storm drain is connected to the West.Side Irrigation District's (WSID) <br /> canal. The City staff will release the encroachment permit after receiving a signed <br /> agreement between Chevron and the WSID for the discharge. Chevron indicated that <br /> they should receive a signed agreement from WSID today.
