MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. 96-814 -2- <br /> CHEVRON PIPELINE COMPANY <br /> CORRAL HOLLOW AND GRANT LINE ROADS <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> i <br /> REPORTING <br /> Quarterly reports shall be submitted to the Board by the 30th day of the month following the <br /> end of each calendar quarter until such time that the Executive Officer determines that the <br /> reports are no longer necessary. Each quarterly report shall include a ground water contour map <br /> and contaminant concentration maps, the status of any ongoing investigation and remediation, <br /> and in tabular form, the water quality data, monitoring well construction data,:depth to ground <br /> water, and free product thicknesses. <br /> i <br /> An annual report evaluating the effectiveness and progress of investigation and remediation shall <br /> be submitted to the Board by 30 January of each year and may be substituted for the fourth <br /> quarter monitoring report. The report shall contain at a minimum the following information: ` <br /> both tabular and graphical summaries of the monitoring data obtained during the previous year; <br /> ground water contour maps and contaminant concentration maps; spatial and temporal trends in <br /> the concentrations of the pollutants in ground water monitoring wells; whether the contaminant <br /> plume is being captured by an extraction system or is continuing to spread; plans as needed for <br /> improving the ground water extraction or treatment system; and the anticipated date for <br /> completion of cleanup activities. The annual report also shall include the reasons for and <br /> durations of all interruptions in the operation of treatment systems. <br /> Based on the data from the previous year, the Discharger shall, in the annual report, identify data <br /> gaps and potential deficiencies/redundancies in the monitoring system or reporting program and <br /> propose any necessary revised ground water sampling plan frequency and analyses with the <br /> rationale for-the proposed revisions. <br /> The results of any monitoring done more frequently than required at the locations specified in <br /> r_the Monitoring andReporting Program shall,be reported to the Board.Y <br /> The Discharger shall implement the above monitoring program as of the date of this Order. <br /> i <br /> Ordered by: <br /> WILLIAM H.
