bonds, insurance policies, and permits, and filing the required reports at protect <br /> completion and as required by the Contract Documents <br /> MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> Mobilization and demobilization shall be measured on a lump sum basis The contract <br /> lump sum price paid for mobilization and demobilization (Bid Item No s Al & 131) shall <br /> include full compensation for conforming to these requirements, furnishing all the labor, <br /> materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work involved in moving on <br /> and off the protect sites necessary for completion of the work as specified in the <br /> Standard Specifications, these special provisions and as directed by the Engineer, shall <br /> be considered as included in the prices paid for the various contract items of work <br /> involved and no additional compensation will be allowed Payment for 50% of <br /> mobilization and demobilization shall be made at the time of the first progress payment <br /> after the Contractor has purchased bonds and insurance The remaining 50% shall be <br /> made at the time of the final progress payment <br /> SECTION 7 —WELL SURFACE CASING -40" CONDUCTOR (Bid Item No s A2 & 132) <br /> PART i - GENERAL <br /> A Description <br /> This section includes materials and installation of permanent surface casing prior <br /> to test hole and production well drilling including grout seal <br /> B Submittals <br /> I Submit certified test reports to the Engineer to show compliance with both <br /> the required physical and chemical properties of the casing steel <br /> 2 Submit description of the placement procedure prior to installation of the <br /> seal <br /> C Measurement and Payment <br /> 1 Well Surface Casing -40" Conductor shall be measured on a linear foot basis, as <br /> determined by length measurements Measurement will be based on the actual <br /> number of linear feet as determined by measurement from the ground surface,, <br /> along the well casing, to the bottom of the casing The contract unit price paid <br /> for Well Surface Casing - 40" Conductor (Bid Item No.s A2 & B2) shall include <br /> full compensation for conforming to these requirements, furnishing all the labor, <br /> materials, tools, equipment, incidentals and for doing all the work involved in <br /> Well Surface Casing - 40" Conductor, including conductor casing borehole <br /> drilling, conductor casing, grout seal and installation of centralizers, complete in <br /> place, as specified in the Standard Specifications, these special provisions and <br /> as directed by the Engineer and no additional compensation will be allowed <br /> 2 No standby time will be paid for the 24-hour period immediately after the grout <br /> seal is placed <br /> • <br /> August 2001 Division 111 -7 Ball Park& Park & Ride Wells Ph 1 <br />
