Comments:Soil and ground wafer contamination center on MW-4. June 1998 ground water samples from MW-4 identified TPHg at
By: 10,000 ug/l,and benzene at 270 pgA MW-4 destroyed in 7198 due to widening of Grant Line Road. A replacement well was not
installed. According to the consultant,a City of Tracy Fire Department monitoring well located approximately 90 feet downgradient of
the site was non detect for petroleum hydrocarbons(no data was presented). MtBE was identified in one soil sample at 0.1 ppm,and
Da in ground water at a maximum of 59 ppb in MW-4(8/96). MtBE has not been detected from MWs in recent sampling events. A .
domestic well exists approximately 300 feet cross gradient to the site, and an irrigation well exists less than 1,000 feet downgradient
(/p p from the site. A log was not provided for the domestic weft. The driller's log for the irrigation well indicates that a sanitary seal was not
` installed, the well is cased and perforations are installed from 159 to 194 feet bgs. Public water is provided. Although high
concentrations of TPHg and BTEX exist in soil and ground water, monitoring data suggest the plume is stable.
