PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICtS
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY 'S G?
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION
Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer
304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor • Stockton, CA 95202
2091468-3420
WT JORDAN & M COTRS
1101 HOLLY DR
TRACY CA 95376
DEC 0 6 1999
Re: WT Jordan Site Code: 2011
298 Grantline Rd.
Tracy CA 95376
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division
(PHSIEHD) has requested concurrence from the Central Valley Regional Water
Quality Control Board on our determination that "no further action is required" for
the above referenced site. This is to notify you that Section 25297.15 (a) has
been added to Chapter 6.7 of the Health and Safety Code. This section includes
a requirement that PHSIEHD (local agency) not issue a closure letter, or make a
determination that no further action is required with respect to "hazardous
substance" underground storage tank release sites unless all current record
owner of fee title to the site have been notified of the proposed action by the
primary or active responsible party.
Please provide PHSIEHD certification in writing that all record fee title owners
have been notified of your request for closure. Submit a list of all the record fee
title owners with their mailing addresses to PHSIEHD so they can be notified of
our intent to issue a closure fetter. If you are the sole property owner, provide a
statement of that fact to PHSIEHD, to fulfil this requirement. Submit this
information as soon as possible so that the closure (no further action requried)
process is not delayed by this new requirement.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Carol Oz, Senior REHS Margare Lagorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit IV Supervisor
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
