(AGE) for the above referenced site.
Groundwater samples were collected from monitor wells #4, #5, and #6 and the results
indicate groundwater contamination at this site appears to be located predominantly at the
northwestern area of the site. Further sampling and analysis is required by PHS/EHD in
order to determine if this site may be considered for future closure.
Groundwater samples should be collected from all of the monitoring wells next quarter.
The samples must be analyzed for five oxygenates, as well as the constituents currently
being analyzed for (use method 8260 for the oxygenates).
During a site inspection on January 22 1998 it was noted that temperature. electrical
conductivity and PH measurements of the water were not being taken during the well
purging rocedure. Parameter measurements are re uired at the time of sampling
for all monitoring wells.
Please contact Carol Oz, Senior REHS, at (209)468-3440 if you have any questions_ It is
required that you notify PHS/EHD prior to all sampling events so that inspections can be
scheduled.
Donna Heran, Director
Environmental Health Division
Carol Oz, Senior REHS Margaret L gorio, REHS
Site Mitigation Unit Lead Senior
cc: RWQCB, Central Valley Region-Pat Anderson
GeoEnvironmental, Inc.-Bill Little
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
