PUBLICNEALTH SERVICES
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION
Ernest M. Fujimoto, M. D., M.P.H., Acting Health Officer '
304 E. Weber Ave., Third Floor • P. O. (AGE) for the above
referenced site.
The report summarizes data collected during the January 24, 1996 geoprobe investigation. The data
indicates the presence of a groundwater plume which is migrating off site in a downgradient direction.
In the report AGE recommends the installation of three additional monitoring wells. PHSIEHD
recommends that one monitoring well be positioned between P6 and P5 on the north side of Grantline
Road. The second monitoring well should be located downgradient of P3. The third well should be
designed for free product removal at the northwest property boundary.
PHSIEHD recommends that MW-3 be re-developed during the next quarterly sampling. If the re-
development and sampling produces results which are consistent with data observed in P6 and P5
then analytical sampling of this well will be considered representative of the aquifer. If the well
continues to produce low to non detections of contaminants, then the well will no longer be considered
useful for quarterly analysis. The well may still provide groundwater elevation data.
In order to remain in compliance with the Corrective Action Requirements of Article 11 of the California
Code of Regulations, PHSIEHD requires that the installation of the three additional monitoring wells be
completed by May 24, 1996.
For additional information, please contact Steven Sasson at (209) 468-3459.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
:St
nvir nmental Health Division
s64
ven Sasson, Senior REHS Margare Lagorio, REHS
Site Mitigation unit Lead Senior
cc: Elizabeth Thayer - CVRWQCB
cc: Annabel Mackey - SWRCB
cc: Bill Little - Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Sen-ices
