PHSIEHD has the
following conditions and comments regarding the Workplan Addendum:
1. Soil and groundwater samples shall be analyzed for Methyl tert butyl
ether (MTBE) in addition to TPH-g and BTEX.
2. Grout shall be installed using the tremie method for destruction of
geoprobe borings and installation of monitoring well seals.
3. Decontamination water shall be drummed on site or hauled off site for
disposal during the geoprobe phase of this workplan.
4. Although the workplan calls for sampling six geoprobe locations, the
workplan should have the flexibility to obtain samples from additional
locations based upon field conditions, in order to reduce remobilization
costs.
5. The workplan does not indicate the type of casing, the casing diameter,
the screen size or the screen interval for the proposed monitoring wells.
6.
