MONITORING AND REPORTING -4- <br /> S. M. S. BRINERS, INC. <br /> SURFACE IMPOUNDMENT CLOSURE <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Monitoring wells shall be sampled at the following frequencies: <br /> Monthly - MW-1, MW-3A, MW-3B, MW-4A, MW-4B, P5 <br /> Quarterly - MW-2, A, P4 <br /> Spring and <br /> Fall B, C, P3, P6 <br /> Water Levels <br /> The ground water surface elevation (in feet and hundredths, M.S.L. ) in all wells <br /> shall be measured on a monthly basis and used to determine the velocity and <br /> direction of ground water flow. This information shall be displayed on a water <br /> table contour map and/or ground water flow net for the site and submitted with <br /> the quarterly monitoring reports. <br /> Surface Water Monitoring <br /> Surface water sampling stations C1, C2, C3 and C4 in Littlejohns Creek shall be <br /> sampled within 72 hours after the first storm of the season which produces flows <br /> in Littlejohns Creek. Sampling will continue on a monthly basis as flow in the <br /> Creek allows. In no case are samples required more frequently than once per <br /> month. <br /> Surface runoff stations SRI and SR2 shall be monitored monthly during storm <br /> runoff. <br /> Water quality parameters to be tested in surface water samples are the same as <br /> those listed under Ground Water Monitoring. <br /> The Discharger shall implement the above monitoring program on the effective date <br /> of this Order. <br /> Ordered by <br /> WILLIAM H.
