Based on the project status as summarized above, and the potential for weather delays
during the upcoming months, Terranext requests an extension of the completion date to
March 29, 1996. This revised submittal date assumes three weeks for completion of
excavation and confirmation sampling, five weeks for scheduling, loading and shipping of the
existing stockpiled soil, one week for backfilling and regrading of the excavated areas, and
four weeks for report preparation, SPTCo review, and submittal as a draft to the Regional
Board.
If you have questions regarding this matter or would like to discuss the revised completion
date, please call the undersigned at (916) 369-8971 or Mr. Randall Smith at (415) 541-2559.
If you are in concurrence with the revised completion date, please acknowledge by signing
below and faxing a copy of this signature page to the undersigned at (916) 369-8370.
Sincerely,
TE EXT
Richard L.
