1
rMountain House Storm Water Detention Basin Page 2
WKA No. 6504.05
rOctober 7, 2005
r3.0 SITE DESCRIPTION
The site of the proposed storm water detention basin lies within a predominately agricultural area
south of Grant Line Road (Figure 1 and Figure 2). The site is bounded to the west and south by
' Canal 120,to the north by West Grant Line Road, and to the east by undeveloped farmland. The
site is located on the westernmost portion of Mr. Eli Muela's properties and has San Joaquin
County Assessor's Parcel Number 209-060-031 (Figure 3).
' The site was mapped as undeveloped land on a 1914 US Geological Survey (USGS)topographic
r map, with only an unnamed improved road to the north (currently West Grant Line Road). The
1978 USGS topographic map shows the addition of Canal 120 to the west and south boundaries,
as well as residences to the west of the property. The site has recently been leased as farmland
' property to a tenant farmer.
r4.0 FIELD ACTIVITIES
' Prior to implementing the field activities discussed herein, a well permit application package was
r submitted to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department for review. The
package included the following:
r • Two Well Permit Applications (one for the Muela Property, one for the Tuso Property),
• Licensed Contractors Declaration,
• Master File Record,
• Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation Workplan, and
• Site Safety Plan.
The well permit was obtained September 12, 2005. A copy of the permit and application are
included in Appendix A.
r
r
i' WALLACE•KUHL
Recyckd,up„ 6 ASSOCIATES INC.
