i
- t
 t
Before sampling, the groundwater will be bailed with a teflon bailer until color,
temperature, conductivity, and pH have stabilized. Groundwater will be analyzed
' for the following
Analysis . PPA Method
TPH gasoline 5030
TPH diesel 3510
I BTEX 602
I A teflon bailer will be used to acquire groundwater samples. Samples will be
immediately placed in an appropriate set of laboratory provided sample vials. For
1 volitile organic analyses, 40 milliliter sample vials with a teflon backed silicone
septa in an open top lid will be used. The sample vials will be filled completely,
avoiding all air bubbles and transported at 4°C to a State Certified analytical
laboratory.
In addition to the four-inch monitoring well, two two-inch diameter piezometers
{ will be constructed in borings P-1, and P-2. The piezometers will be constructed in
the same method as the monitoring well but will not be developed or sampled. A
survey will be completed of the piezometers and well to obtain relative
Ir
groundwater elevations to confirm the gradient information obtained from the
adjacent Mobil Oil Distribution Center site.
'
5.0 Site Safety Plan
Due to the limited exposure possible during drilling activities, site activities will be
j completed using level.0 protection.
