Well Reference Distance to <br /> Elevation well EW-1 <br /> EW-1 2693 Not Applicable <br /> MW-2 2718 451 <br /> AS-1 2704 697 <br /> MW-6 2658 4579 <br /> MW-4 2664 4764 <br /> MW-3 2741 5787 <br /> Notes From survey by Farley's Surveying, December 10, 2001 <br /> 1 1 Pump Test Equipment <br /> The constant rate pump test was performed using a Grundfos Pumps Corporation SP4-6 <br /> submersible electric pump This is a 4-u3ch, six stage pump capable of up to 25 gallons per <br /> minute (GPM), depending on the total dynamic head conditions This pump was powered by a <br /> '/z-HP, 115-volt, single phase Franklin submersible electric motor The pump/motor <br /> . combination was fitted with a bottom entry cooling shroud The pumping well was 18 67 feet in <br /> depth below the top of the 6-inch PVC casing, being 19 26 feet below the top of the run of the <br /> protective cover The total available drawdown in the well, the distance from the static water <br /> level to the top of the pump, was approximately 1196 feet <br /> Pump discharge during the constant rate test was controlled using a nominal 8 GPM flexible <br /> membrane orifice flow control valve (DoleTM Flow Regulator) Constancy of flow through these <br /> devices is within a few percent at specific differential dynamic head configurations Similar <br /> flow control valves \%ere used for the step drawdown test as discussed below in Section 2 The <br /> flow rate was periodically measured using a stop watch and calibrated bucket <br /> Water levels in five observation wells and in the pumping well were measured manually and <br /> using submersible pressure transducers The water level in the pumping well (EW-1) was <br /> measured %vith a 15-PS] transducer and observation wells MW-2 and AS-1 were monitored with <br /> 10-PSI transducers connected to the same data logger Observation wells MW-3 and MW-4 were <br /> • monitored using 10-PSI connected to the same data logger Water levels were hand measured in <br /> observation well MW-6 <br /> H90GY-1 L A GROUNDWATER CONSULTANCY <br />
