(AGE) has prepared this work <br /> plan for the destruction of four ground water monitoring wells (MWI, MW2, MW4 and MW7) at <br /> 2420 Grant Line Road, Tracy, California (the site). <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> Eight two-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells (MW 1 through MWS) located at the site <br /> were part of a subsurface investigation of the former underground storage tank (UST) area. <br /> Monitoring wells MW 1 and MW3 were installed to maximum depths of 20 feet below surface grade <br /> (bsg); well MW2 was installed to a maximum depth of 17 feet bsg; wells MW4, MW5 and MWG <br /> were installed to maximum depths of 14 feet bsg; and wells MW7 and MW8 were installed to <br /> maximum depths of 15 feet bsg. The monitoring wells were installed using 8-inch diameter hollow <br /> stem augers. <br /> The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1. A site plan is illustrated in Figure 2. In accordance <br /> with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)requirements,all wells must <br /> be properly destroyed to obtain final site closure.
