23 September 2004
AGE-NC Project No. 95-0111
PROCEDURES
AGE proposes to destroywells MW 1,MW2, MW4 and MW7. The wells will be destroyed by over-
drilling each well to at least one foot below the total boring depth utilizing a CME-75 drill rig
equipped with 8-inch diameter hollow stem augers and subsequently backfilled with neat cement.
The grout mixture will consist of Type IJII portiand neat cement and not more than 6 gallons of water
per 94-pound sack of cement.
Additionally, AGE proposes to leave well MW3 in place so it can continue to be a monitoring and
sampling point for the adjacent Curtiss Pontiac site at 2450 Toste Road, Tracy, CA. AGE also
proposes that wells MWS, MW6 and MW8 be left in place, and ownership of these wells be
transferred to the responsible party at the adjacent 7-Eleven Store 4 32262 located at 2560 Grant
Line Road, to be used in the environmental investigation taking place at the site.
AGE personnel have been in contact with SECOR International Inc,the consultants performing the
investigation at 2560 Grant Line Road, and are working with them to transfer city encroacliment
permits and revocable permits from Mr. Joe Toste to the responsible party for 7-Eleven. If for any
reason ownership of wells MWS,MW6 and MW8 can not be transferred then they will be destroyed
by the above mentioned procedures.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact our office at (209) 467-1006.
Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
1 Brian W.
