FINDINGS
Ground water elevation, flow direction, and gradient were determined from field data collected on
' • 21 June 2002,the contaminant impact to ground water was quantified from the laboratory analytical
data
' 3 1 GROUND WATER FLOW DIRECTION AND GRADIENT
' The elevation of ground water in each well was calculated by subtracting the depth to ground water
from the surveyed well casing elevations (Table 1)
The depths to ground water ranged from 6 21 feet to 9 43 feet below the tops of the well casings
Ground water elevations at the site ranged from 9 68 feet above mean sea level(MSL)in well MW-6
to 1106 feet above MSL in well MW-3 Ground water elevations at the site increased an average
' of 0 22 feet between the April 2002 and June 2002 sampling events Wells MW-1 and MW-3 were
"drowned",the water level was approximately 0 57 feet and 151 feet above the respective screened
Intervals
The ground water flow direction was Inferred to be towards the north on-site under an average
gradient of 0 009 feet/feet and towards the north-northwest lust north of the site under an average
gradient of 0 007 feet/feet Figure 3 illustrates the contoured ground water elevations
•
1
Advanced GcoEnvironmental Inc
1
