Universal waste shall be marked with the words"Universal Waste" and the type of waste (batteries, <br /> mercury containing equipment, lamps, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass). Immediately label these wastes and <br /> ensure that all universal wastes are labeled with the required information. This is a minor violation. <br /> 2)Various used/waste aerosol paint cans were stored on the shelves of the cart maintenance shop and were found not <br /> in an appropriate container. Universal waste shall be marked with the words "Universal Waste" and the type of waste <br /> (batteries, mercury containing equipment, lamps, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass). Immediately label these <br /> wastes and ensure that all universal wastes are labeled with the required information. This is a minor violation. <br /> 3)Two glass containers of waste dental amalgam were stored in the dental office without an appropriate label. Universal <br /> waste shall be marked with the words"Universal Waste" and the type of waste (dental amalgam, batteries, mercury <br /> containing equipment, lamps, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass). Immediately label these wastes and ensure that all <br /> universal wastes are labeled with the required information. This is a minor violation. The universal waste handler shall be able to demonstrate the length of time that the universal <br /> waste has been accumulated.
