Joe Lentini -4 - . 2 February 2010 .
Former Pipelines, Tracy
5. Our most recent check of GeoTracker, the State Water Resources Control Board's (State
Water Board's) online database website, shows that the Site document postings are not
current. Submission of Site data to the GeoTracker database was required starting in
January 2005. Submission to the State Water Board's GeoTracker database is required by
Title 23 and Title 27 of the California Code of Regulations. All documents, including but
not limited to work plans, correspondence, quarterly monitoring reports, and investigation
and cleanup reports, and all analytical and Site data must be electronically uploaded to the
GeoTracker database and is due at the same time the paper copy is submitted to this
office and Sacramento County Environmental Management Department. Shell must upload
all required EDF files to the GeoTracker database. For specific information about EDF
submittals and requirement, you may call the GeoTracker help-desk at (916) 327-3918 or
log on the GeoTracker web site at http://www.geotracker.waterboards.ca.gov, and click
on the Electronic Submital of Information link.
The comments described above prevent us from concurring with the RA Work Plan and the
Addendum. On 29 January 2010, you proposed and we agreed to hold a meeting to discuss
progress at the Site. Please review the comments presented above so that they may be
resolved through discussions in the meeting at the Central Valley Water Board office on
23 February 2010 at 10:00 am.
If you have any questions regarding this letter, you may contact me at (916) 464-4811 or by
email at betaylor@w terboards.ca.gov.
Brian Taylor, G.
Engineerin Geologist
Abovegro nd Tanks Cleanup Unit
cc: Mr. Jeff Gaarder, Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, Sonoma
Mr. Mike Infurna, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, Stockton
Ms. Eileen Nottoli, Allen Matkins Leck Gamble & Mallory LLP, San Francisco
Mr. Shailendra Ganna, Shell Global Solutions (US) Inc., Houston, TX
Mr. David Corliss, Golden State Developers, Walnut Creek
