Clayton plans
to install one(1) soil boring to an approximate depth of 250 feet below grade to delineate
the vertical extent of groundwater contamination. Previous investigations have included
hollow stem auger, CPT and mud rotary drilling techniques. Clayton proposes to use air
rotary drilling at the site to minimize cross contamination and ensure that deeper soils can
be logged and sampled accordingly.
Please find enclosed a check in the amount of$89.00, well permit application form and
the licensed contractors declaration, as requested. Clayton anticipates drilling at the site
to commence on Monday, March 15, 2004 upon receipt of the well permit.
