1 <br /> Working To Restore Nature 11 <br /> The complete set of Plans and Specifications will be submitted to the City Building, Planning 1 <br /> and Fire Departments for review, comment and approval prior to construction and installation. <br /> System Installation <br /> After the Plans and Specifications are completed and approved, system installation can begin. <br /> This would include installation of any necessary treatment compounds and fencing, installation <br /> of the carbon canisters; trenching and installation of piping, control valves, and <br /> electncal/mstrumentation. This task should also include any other construction management <br /> ' activities to manage and expedite the installation and startup of the remediation system, such as <br /> systems inspections and power hook-ups <br /> 10.4 System Startup and Source Testing <br /> ' After the system is installed, a source test should be performed in accordance with permit <br /> guidelines to venfy proper operation Startup procedures should include system monitoring, <br /> maintenance, and sampling. <br /> 10.5 System ORgrations. Maintenance and Compliance Monitoring and Rejaortin <br /> ' After startup and source testing, periodic maintenance inspections will likely be required a <br /> minimum of once per month for the life of the project. Modifications to this schedule would <br /> ' be made if additional requirements are specified by the guidelines set forth by any permit. <br /> Remediation status reports should be prepared for submittal to the County and the CRWQCB <br /> ' on a quarterly basis or the frequency specified in any permit <br /> ' Site operations and monitoring should include adjustment of system parameters to optimize <br /> groundwater extraction and treatment, and thus site cleanup efficiency; periodic sampling and <br /> ' field monitoring of influent and effluent as required by the permit, and other periodic <br /> maintenance including inspection and cleaning of all lines, process equipment, and <br /> ' instrumentation.
