Woodward-Clyde
F
3.2 GROUNDWATER ANALYTICAL RESULTS
One groundwater sample was collected during the site characterization activities. One grab f
groundwater sample (MW-7) was collected from soil boring B-7. Sample MW-7 was
analyzed for TPH as diesel and TPH as gasoline using modified EPA Method 8015 and
BTEX using EPA Method 8020. The analytical results for groundwater sample MW-7 is
rr presented in Table 3. Analytical laboratory reports for the groundwater sample are presented
in Appendix C.
3.2.1 Groundwater Sampling
I
l.' One grab groundwater sample was collected from soil boring B-7 on June 1, 1995. Grab F
groundwater sample MW-7 contained non-detectable concentrations of TPH as diesel, TPH
r' as gasoline, and BTEX.
Ld
3.3 CHEMICAL DATA VALIDATION
The analytical results for the KJAX Radion Transmitter Station site were subjected to a
thorough QA/QC review conducted by Tracy M. Vonah, a WCFS chemist. This data review
r included:
L
• Holding Time Review - Check for holding time exceedences.
• Blank Review - Review laboratory reagent blank analyses for evidence of
laboratory contamination. A reagent blank analysis is required to be
conducted with each analytical batch.
I
• Blank, Matrix, and Surrogate Spike Review - Review blank, matrix, and
surrogate spike recovery ranges and spike duplicate relative percent
differences as a check for accuracy and precision of the extraction (if';
applicable) and analysis.
All samples were analyzed within the method-prescribed holding times. All method blank
r samples had nondetect results reported for BTEX and TPH as gasoline and diesel. The
Ls
I
8054/FEMA/KJAXPIER.RPT/8-74-95 SAC 3-2
