fz
is
I I
13.0
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE i
Preventive maintenance of equipment is essential to ensure accurate measurements and cost- i
effective performance. Preventive maintenance will take two forms: a schedule of preventive
maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure accuracy of measurement systems, and
ready availability of critical spare parts and backup systems and equipment. The preventive
maintenance approach for specific pieces of equipment used in sampling, monitoring, and
documentation will follow manufacturers' specifications and good field and laboratory practices.
Performance of these maintenance procedures.will be documented in the field notebooks and
laboratory records.
rSupport equipment, including safety devices, pumps, vehicles, etc., are also periodically
L inspected to maintain performance standards necessary for all site activities. While on-site, all
equipment maintenance and operation is the responsibility of the Field Team Leader.
C ,
1
C
I
8054 cA8054\xjax.ga 18
