14.0 -
SPECIFIC PROCEDURES TO BE USED TO ASSESS DATA PRECISION,
ACCURACY, REPRESENTATIVENESS, AND COMPLETENESS (PARCC)
Routine procedures to be used for measuring precision and accuracy of laboratory data include
use of replicate analyses, standard reference materials (SRMs), matrix spikes, and procedural
blanks. Replicate matrix spikes and method blanks are required by the specified analytical
protocols.
r Accuracy as measured by analysis of standard reference materials will be determined by
L comparing the measured value with the 95 percent confidence interval established for' each
analyte.
Completeness will be measured for each set of data received by dividing the number of valid
rr measurements actually obtained by the number of valid measurements that were planned.
L All data sets will be evaluated for the PARCC parameters, including precision of duplicate
measurements and percent recoveries of spiked samples.
 II
r i
F
L
L
8054 c:\8054\kjax.gap 19
