i <br /> -, Beacon Station Na 641 April 22, 1999 <br /> Stockton California Work Plan <br /> The soil and groundwater samples selected for analysis from boring B-3 will <br /> be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), the gasoline <br /> constituents benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) by <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Methods 8015/8020 or 826013, the <br /> seven oxygenated fuel additive compounds methanol, ethanol, tertiary butyl <br /> alcohol (TBA), methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), <br /> ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETBE), and tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME) by <br /> EPA Method 8260 <br /> 2.2 The borings for wells MW-6 through MW-9 will be drilled to an approximate <br /> depth of 55 feet bsg Subsequent to the drilling of each of these borings, a 2- <br /> inch ID, schedule 40, PVC groundwater monitoring well will be constructed in <br /> each boring Twenty feet of 2-inch ID, schedule 40, PVC well screen with <br /> factory 0 020-inch slots will be placed from approximately 35 to 55 feet bsg <br /> A diagram of the construction details for a typical groundwater monitoring <br /> well is included in this Work Plan as Figure 3 <br /> 2.3 All soil samples collected from the borings will be submitted to Kiff <br /> Analytical (Kiff) in Davis, California (Cert #2236) (Selected soil samples <br /> will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, and MTBE by EPA Methods 8015/8020 or <br /> 8260B In addition, at a minimum, the soil sample with the highest OVM <br /> reading from each boring will be analyzed for the seven oxygenated fuel <br /> additive compounds methanol, ethanol, TBA, MTBE, DIPS, ETBE, and <br /> TAME by EPA Method 8260 <br /> Task 3 Survey the elevations of the top of each well casing for all groundwater wells <br /> at the site The new welts will be surveyed for their relative locations to the <br /> existing well survey <br /> 1641-14 wp 5 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC <br />
