CHRONOLOGY <br /> CONTINENTAL GRAIN COMPANY <br /> 1805 HARBOR STREET <br /> LOP SITE CODE: 1132 <br /> CVRWQCB CASE # 390229 <br /> APN: 14502005 <br /> 01/22/88 On this date a 750 gallon gasoline underground storage tank (UST), two 12,000 <br /> gallon diesel USTs and a 10,000 gallon UST were removed under the <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) permit and inspection. Soil samples <br /> were collected from below each UST. Samples from the 750 gallon UST and the <br /> 10,000 gallon UST were positive for TPH and further soil and ground water <br /> assessment was required. No contaminants were found in the soil from beneath <br /> the 12,000 gallon USTs so no further investigation was required in this location. <br /> 03/17/88 EHD filed an Unauthorized Release Report and a Notification of Hazardous <br /> Waste Discharge Report on this date. <br /> 07/10/97 The site was placed in the Local Oversight Program on this date. <br /> 10/07/97 On this date one boring, SB7, was completed at the 750 gallon UST location and <br /> six borings, SB1-S136, were completed at the 10,000 gallon UST location. Soil <br /> and ground water samples were collected for analysis. <br /> 11/24/97 Date of Summary Report Subsurface Investigation prepared by Smith <br /> Environmental for the work conducted in October 1997, <br /> 02/18/98 Date of EHD letter requiring additional investigation of the 10,000 gallon UST <br /> location and no further investigation of the 750 gallon UST location. <br /> 08/12/98 Monitoring wells MW1 — MW3 were installed in the area of the 10,000 gallon UST <br /> on this date. Ground water samples documented contamination. <br /> 10/19/98 The date of the Summary Report of Additional Subsurface Investigation prepared <br /> by ATC Associates Inc. that discusses the August 1998 work. <br /> 04/20/00 Geoprobe borings S68— SB10 were completed on this date. <br /> 0615-30100 Monitoring wells MW4 — MW6 and soil boring SB12 were completed during this <br /> time. <br /> 11/09/00 The date of the Summary Report that discusses the work completed in April and <br /> June 2000. <br /> 06/18/02 The date of a Corrective Action Plan prepared by ATC. <br /> 09/09/02 The date of the EHD letter not approving the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) and <br /> requesting a work plan to further investigate the extent of the soil and <br /> groundwater contamination. <br />
