No detectable concentrations of
TPH as diesel were detected.
September 28, 1993 - Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells MW 1 -
MW3. Analysis of water samples revealed elevated concentrations
of TPH as gasoline and BTEX.
September 22 - 23, 1993 - Three additional groundwater monitoring wells (MW4 -MW6)
were drilled at the site. Analysis of both soil and water samples
collected from MW4 through MW6 revealed no detectable
petroleum hydrocarbons.
September 28, 1993 - Approximately 700 cubic yards of diesel contaminated soil were
excavated from beneath the former dispenser island. Analytical
results of thirteen excavation soil samples revealed low but
detectable concentrations of TPH as diesel. No additional
investigation or excavation was required by Mr. Michael Murtiff of
San Joaquin County. The UST excavation and dispenser island
excavations were subsequently backfilled and compacted by Granite
personnel.
1994
April 4, 1994 - Groundwater monitoring wells MW 1 - MW6 were sampled.
Analysis of water samples collected from NMI - MW3 revealed
elevated concentrations of TPH as gasoline ranging from 390 µg/1
to 1000 µg/I. No detectable concentrations of TPH as gasoline,
diesel, or BTEX were detected in wells MW4 - MW6.
